Interesting comments on homeless people ... I would argue that we are all waiting to die but not at a conscious level... our days are filled with busy/productive/unproductive/ time, we call this living, but is this not survival? ... Meta-Ethics has us ask the important questions like "What is happiness?" or "Should we care?" etc.

hmph...I suppose so. I guess, then, my biggest issue is WHAT we do with our lives...and I would argue most people just "carry out their sentence" without really thinking about it.
